The love of learning has been a focus of the Temmy Latner Forest Hill Jewish Centre from the start. No one is too young, or too old, to participate in the year-round education programs.
Classes have ranged from singing and storytelling for toddlers, to the teen learning program, to the F.I.T.: Forest Hill Institute of Torah. Regular lecture series and seminars, presented by local and visiting educators, have drawn attendees from around the neighbourhood and across the city.
The four classrooms incorporated into the Centre will provide a steady stream of stimulation. A nursery area will give even the youngest members of the community a place to make contact with Jewish holidays and traditions.
Along with the entire educational wing, the nursery and individual classrooms are available for sponsorship.
Dedications are also available for offices throughout the building, including one designed for the Rabbi, and another for the Hebrew school administration.
