A commitment to Jewish traditions will be at the foundation of the Temmy Latner Forest Hill Jewish Centre.
After all, a passionate study of traditional texts and their contemporary applications have always been a big part of what makes the Centre tick.
The new building will make these engaging classes, lectures and discussions even more accessible. A bustling space for books will be augmented with a multimedia library — which will use the latest information technologies to enhance the learning experience throughout the week.
A Holocaust memorial will also be designed to forge a direct connection with the legacy of the Great Synagogue of Jalso — and help bring a living sense of history to Forest Hill.
The Holocaust memorial room and library are both available for dedication.
Sponsorship opportunities also include individual classrooms and the multimedia library, along with the entire educational wing.
